More information
Next to the small school gymnasium, the Hirtenfeldhalle has existed since 1991, which is primarily available for the HSG Irmenach-Kleinich-Horbruch to conduct handball training and matches. This hall is a pilot project in several respects.
On the one hand, it was created as a community project of the municipalities of Kleinich and Irmenach. On the other hand, it is also characterized by a special ecological construction method: The exterior facade, as well as the interior spaces, are entirely clad in local wood species (Douglas fir).
