Displayed year-round above the sacristy of the Catholic parish church in Kell am See, the crib, completely restored between 2005 and 2007, created by the Rhineland crib builder Jakob Reischig between 1870 and 1925 and constantly expanded, delights countless visitors. Both the influences of the Baroque and the Nazarene school can be clearly observed here. The entire salvation history from the marriage of Mary to the entry into Jerusalem is impressively depicted. No less impressive is the representation of the two cities Bethlehem and Jerusalem along with a desert landscape featuring the Holy Family fleeing to Egypt.
Opening hours: From December 25 to December 30, daily from 14:00 - 16:00. Entrance via the side entrance.
