Inspector House

The gable-fronted house at Obergasse 19, featuring half-timbering and a stair tower with an octagonal floor plan, was built around 1600. Later acquired by the noble government, it served the Lutheran community as a parsonage after 1727. Among others, the clergyman Johann Nikolaus Götz, also known as the 'Winterburg Nightingale', lived here and wrote several of his poems.
