Chapel of the Puricelli Foundation

Chapel 'To the Immaculate Conception' from the year 1888.

The "Jenny" Puricelli, who passed away in 1862, had stipulated that her fortune from an inheritance be converted into a foundation to realize the construction of an orphanage and hospital. In 1888, the chapel "To the Immaculate Conception" was built as the third building within the ensemble. Among other things, due to its mosaic floor, the largest contiguous one in the region, it is a gem among the churches in the Hunsrück.
