Church of Rückweiler

The Herz-Jesu-Kirche, also known as Heidedom, was built in 1908 in the Gothic style. It is a neo-Gothic sandstone-framed breccia hall building designed by architect Wilhelm Hector. The floral images on the ceiling of the church are particularly beautiful.

The high altar depicts the penitent Magdalena in the house of Simon on the right side. On the left side, Jesus is shown as a friend of children. The Gothic pulpit also displays a scene from the Sermon on the Mount.
