Knochenflicker Pies

The monument is located on Bopparder Str. directly in front of the former Hotel Waldfrieden, which was built by the naturopath Peter Pies in 1908.
The Hunsrück bone-setting family Pies was a family active in healing professions in the Hunsrück region from the early modern period until the end of the 20th century, whose most well-known members became known as chiropractors, or as "bone setters".
