The memorial 'Field of Sorrow' on the B 48 between Bretzenheim and Bad Kreuznach is dedicated to "All German soldiers who died in captivity." The memorial is freely accessible without prior registration. The exhibition "Prisoner of War Camps" in the town hall (Große Straße 12, 55559 Bretzenheim) features documents, photos, drawings, and personal accounts, among other things.
