The Horn 'motte' was a simple fortification from the Middle Ages, built quickly at that time. It is an earthen mound surrounded by a moat, which likely had a wooden tower in the center.
Today, only the earthen mound is recognizable.

The medieval mounds near Horn are located along the themed cycling route "Romans, Knights, Monastic Women," which is accessible year-round.
