From April to October, you can spend your short vacation at one of the 6 motorhome parking spaces near the bathing pond in Baumholder.
If you intend to stay in Baumholder outside of the season, simply contact the city office, as the supply and disposal services are limited or not available at all during the winter months due to weather conditions. Additionally, the water is turned off due to the risk of frost, and the public toilet is closed.

Freshwater access (80 l costs 1,- Euro), electricity supply (4 kWh costs 1,- Euro), and the possibility for wastewater disposal (ground inlet and disposal station) provide campers with an optimal stay quality for a stay of up to three days (8,- Euro parking fees / day).

The parking spaces will be redesigned in 2020 with the renovation of the Generations Square and are expected to open in autumn 2020.

In the immediate vicinity, there are three grocery stores with bakeries (one of which is open on Sundays) as well as various fast-food restaurants and local gastronomy.

Arrival by car:

You can reach Baumholder coming from Kusel via the L176. Turn left into Ringstraße. At the roundabout, turn right onto Weiherplatz. At the end of Weiherplatz, the portal to the Traumschleife Bärenbachpfad can be seen. 

From the Freisen motorway exit, you can reach Baumholder via the L 348. Follow the first exit towards Baumholder. Turn right at the traffic light onto Ringstraße. At the roundabout, turn onto Weiherplatz. At the end of Weiherplatz, the portal to the Traumschleife Bärenbachpfad can be seen.

Coming from Idar-Oberstein, you can reach Baumholder via the L 169. Turn right at the traffic light into Aulenbacherstraße. This leads into Ringstraße. Continue straight at the next traffic light. At the roundabout, turn onto Weiherplatz. At the end of Weiherplatz, the portal to the Traumschleife Bärenbachpfad can be seen.

Arrival by train:

You can reach Baumholder with the RB 34. Timetable information at: www.vlexx.de

From the train station, turn right into Ringstraße. Cross the traffic light and continue straight on Ringstraße. At the roundabout, turn onto Weiherplatz. At the end of Weiherplatz, the portal to the Traumschleife Bärenbachpfad can be seen. It takes about 7 minutes to walk.

The path to the starting portal of the Traumschleife at Weiherplatz is signposted from the train station.
