MTB Route No. 3

On the shortest of the three routes, you will cycle over 20 kilometers of varied forest and meadow paths.

After the start, you will ride past the "Thalfanger Wassertretbecken" up to Himmelberg. Passing the holiday park, through meadows and fields, you can take your first break at the Genussstation Burtscheider Grillhütte after 4 km. After crossing the town of Burtscheid, you will descend to Dhronecken, where a second rest stop is available at the castle complex, before continuing towards the "Singing Valley".

Now it’s a steady but moderate uphill. At Kling, you will reach the highest point of the stage. On the descent, you will pass the central water reservoir, through the district of Bäsch, down the "Bäscher Backofen" into the "Langemerbachtal" back to Thalfang.
