A highlight of the museum is the hunting room. The coffered ceiling, the ornate parquet floors, and the wall paneling and built-in furniture adorned with elaborate carvings found in this room were created by Anton Pössenbacher. He furnished Neuschwanstein and Herrenchiemsee for the fairy-tale king Ludwig II. Since 1998, weddings have also been held in the hunting room.
Particularly worth seeing is the collection of glass artist Ida Paulin, who lived in Bad Münster for a long time. The local history exhibition presents the history of the Bangert manor and its owners in connection with the town of Bad Kreuznach.
