A balcony for the Nahe Valley – this is how you experience the airy steel observation platform that juts out seven meters over the cliff of a former quarry high above the Nahe Valley. Below the platform, the rock face drops around 60 meters vertically, with another 40 meters of descent down to the Nahe River. Together with the St. Johannisberg Collegiate Church, the Nahe Skywalk forms another highlight of the certified Vital Tour Wildgrafenweg, which runs in close proximity.
Experience an unforgettable view into the Nahe Valley, onto the Hellberg, the town of Kirn, and into the currently active quarry – a panoramic delight with a healthy dose of thrill is guaranteed. Freestanding, the view can wander far into the distance.
Directions: Coming from the B41, turn onto Dhauner Straße/K9 in Hochstetten-Dhaun and follow its course. In St. Johannisberg, follow the signs. Parking is available before the village.
