Since summer 2011, a 1.6 km long nature trail has enriched the Schillingen recreational facility.
At 18 family-friendly designed stations, especially children and teenagers can rediscover the local natural environment in all its complexity. The predominantly interactive stations convey the interplay of forces in nature in a playful way.
A tree labyrinth, the barefoot path, and the Fatima chapel are components of the trail, and especially the chapel provides visitors with peace and relaxation, far from the often hectic everyday life.
The spit-roast hall at the starting and ending point of the educational trail offers a hearty cuisine and is open daily (except Mondays) from 12:00 PM.
