The nature station in the old spa house provides an ideal setting for showcasing the Nahe Valley with its unique diversity of animal and plant species. Here, the flora and fauna of the region are presented. The focus is on the exhibition of native snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, and newts in species-appropriate terrariums. Ongoing individual projects for stabilizing the population of the dice snake at the Nahe or for restoring natural riverbanks and floodplain forests to protect rare animal species are presented.
