The former pilgrimage church near Sargenroth is a landmark of the Hunsrück region. Surrounded by ancient trees, it offers a picturesque view. Only the tower of the medieval church building has been preserved; the nave was rebuilt in 1745. The paintings in the window reveals and in the chancel arch depicting the Visitation of Mary and the wise and foolish virgins date back to the 14th century.
