One of the largest marshalling yards in Germany (until 1974) was transformed into the Park at the Mouse Tower for the State Garden Show 2008. The mighty river, the Mouse Tower, and the ruins of Ehrenfels are in close proximity, providing the backdrop for a place of encounter, relaxation, movement, and events. For children, the "R(h)ein to Play" has become a well-known attraction. Currently (as of June 26, 2026), the stream there is not in operation due to low water levels. However, the playground itself is accessible – except during cleaning times on Tuesdays.  For teenagers, there is a skate park and ball fields for youth, as well as an obstacle course for adults. Opportunities for play and sports are available for all generations.

The Control Center Human | Nature | Technology brings the history of the region closer. Multimedia installations, exciting exhibits, and models illustrate life at the Binger Loch. Untouched riverbanks, retreat areas for endangered animal and plant species, wide lawns, fruit trees, vines, and flower beds trace the path from nature to culture.
