The park along the riverbank has existed since 1903. Its path system resembles the style of English landscape parks. The design was based on the "Geisenheim Plan" from the Royal Prussian School of Gardening in Geisenheim. Initially, the park was slightly smaller than today, covering 17,000 square meters. In the past decade, the Rhine Gardens along the river have been extended north and south and enhanced with sculptures. A children's playground and exercise equipment for adults increase the recreational value.

The design was inspired by the 'Geisenheimer Plan' from the Royal Prussian School of Gardening in Geisenheim. Initially, the park was slightly smaller than today at 17,000 square meters. The park established in 1903 in the Rhine facilities artistically follows the model of English landscape parks. Sculptures, a children's playground, and exercise equipment complement the expansive green area by the Rhine.
