After the customer services at the Thalfang post office were discontinued in 1999 as part of the rationalizations of the 'Deutsche Post', the local community of Thalfang established a post agency in the 'Haus der Begegnung' in the same year, which it still operates today.

* Sale of registered mail stamps and package sets
* Sale of envelopes, shipping bags, and packing tape
* Sale of mobile phone cards and prepaid cards
* Sale of gift vouchers and much more
