A picturesque eye-catcher in the local community of Hahnenbach is the old half-timbered town hall from 1939.
The surrounding walls of the town hall on the ground floor are made of rubble stone, which was sourced locally, with door and window frames made of sandstone, and partition walls made of brick. The upper floor walls are built in half-timbered style, clad and shingled on the outside. There is a bell tower with a bell on the roof.
Next to the town hall is the chapel with the stone arch bridge over the Hahnenbach.
In 1966, the place was officially recognized as a tourist community.
