The "Forest Chapel" of the Ring family is a place of Marian veneration.
In the forest area northeast of the Poststraße, a charming little church stands amidst tall beech trees.
It owes its name, Ring Chapel, to its builder.
Constructed in 1966/67, it was dedicated to the "Mother of Perpetual Help" and consecrated by Pastor Schlegelmilch on May 15, 1967.
The special feature of this little church is the fact that it was built on the foundation of a decommissioned pumping station of the water supply.
This place of tranquility and peace invites passersby to pause and reflect.
Although privately owned, it is generally accessible and is also gladly used by the parish community for processions and May devotions.
