The central attraction of the Rochusberg is the pilgrimage church of St. Rochus, built in 1895 in the neo-Gothic style. The first chapel was erected at this site in 1666. This period also marks the beginning of the Rochus pilgrimage and the Rochus festival. A notable feature is the Hildegard and Rupertus altar from 1895: The Hildegard altar depicts scenes from the life of the saint (only the church foyer is open outside of service times).
At the Hildegard Forum of the Sisters of the Cross, exhibitions, lectures, and seminars focus on the saint. A meditation room invites visitors on an audiovisual journey through the vision books. In the “Monastery Garden,” medicinal plants and trees described in Hildegard's 'Physica' grow. The Hildegard Forum also includes a lunch restaurant and a hotel.
Especially from the Kaiser-Friedrich Tower, there are magnificent views. Many walking paths lead over the Rochusberg, and on the butterfly trail and the forest educational trail, one can learn a lot of interesting information.
