In front of the medieval city wall of Bad Kreuznach, there has been a large estate for many centuries - today it is a romantic tree garden that was developed as a landscape park in the 19th century.
The pond system located in the park dates back to the 18th century when a water castle once stood here. Over the years, however, this, like the park itself, has been reshaped repeatedly by its changing owners. Thus, in the middle of the park stands the Castle Park Museum, which, together with the pond system, forms an aesthetic unit that is worth seeing in its own right.
