Station

Former station on the Hunsrückbahn line to Simmern. Today on the Schinderhannes cycle path.

The reception building (Middle reception building) is slightly larger than the other station buildings of the Hunsrückbahn between Simmern and Boppard. The appearance and layout of the two building types are relatively minor. On the ground floor, there was a service room and a waiting room. On the first floor, there was the officials' apartment with 3 rooms (including a kitchen). The attic was expanded as needed. The sanitary facilities were located in the stable and ancillary building. There is a small former goods handling facility attached. To supply the railway staff living on-site, there were always the famous railway gardens. The employees received support from the Railway Farmers' Association regarding vegetable cultivation.

The same building can be found in Windesheim, Argenthal, Sohren, or Hirschfeld. The construction plan was also applied in Niederhausen, along the Nahe.

The station is privately owned.
