The Former Lutheran Christianskirche

Built from 1761 to 1771 by master mason Christian Reheis according to the plans of the noble land building director Philipp Heinrich Hellermann (1765-1776), supported by Christian IV of Palatinate-Zweibrücken (1735-1775). The simple Baroque building with round arch windows and hipped roof, a bell tower with two lanterns and a flared dome served the Lutherans as a place of worship until the church union in 1836. From 1911, it served as an evangelical community center. Since 2005, the city of Meisenheim has used it as a community house.
