Walk-through sound sculpture "Wind Sound" on the Erbeskopf. This sculpture, designed by sculptor C. Mancke, impressively showcases the interplay of nature and the elements. Tons of steel, gracefully wrapped in a wooden dress, create your own music amidst the dreamy Hunsrück landscape. It offers visitors the opportunity to experience and feel the landscape from new perspectives as they walk along the path through the sculpture to the viewpoint. Here, the visitor's imagination knows no bounds.
From the viewing platform at the summit, the view on clear days extends far over the Hunsrück landscape to the volcanic mountains of the Eifel, the Schaumberg near Tholey in Saarland, and the Donnersberg in the Palatinate.
Every weather plays its own "song", making a visit worthwhile in any weather condition.
The sculpture is located in the midst of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
