Waldfreibad Idarwald

In the wooded valley of the Rhaunelbach, far away from urban noise, lies the heated (24 degrees Celsius) outdoor pool "Idarwald" between Stipshausen and Rhaunen. The pool offers a swimming pool with an integrated diving pool, diving tower, and diving board, a non-swimmer pool with a slide, as well as a large children's splash pool with various attractions. The overall area of about 200 x 100 meters also includes a large sunbathing area, which, thanks to generous planting, offers numerous shaded and sunny spots, never giving the impression of overcrowding. The outdoor pool features attractions such as water sprayers, water mushrooms, floor sprayers, slides, water cannons, and pool islands. The heated water is continuously circulated and cleaned. The green area, richly planted with trees and shrubs, provides cool and sheltered spots and seating areas, shielding the facility from the outside. A kiosk with a seating terrace takes care of culinary needs. On the adjacent recreational meadow with a table tennis table and volleyball court, sports enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves.
