Water Knowledge Workshop
The Water Knowledge Workshop is the visitor and information center focused on drinking water and is located directly at the Steinbach Dam near Kempfeld. In the interactive exhibition, visitors learn everything about water extraction and treatment, water distribution in the region, and the protectability of our limited and valuable resource during a guided tour.
Those who wish can explore the exhibition alone or in groups using rally discovery sheets for an exciting tour. The integrated WaterLab emphasizes the fun of experimenting. With experiment kits on the topic of 'Properties of Water', children and adults can independently conduct water experiments. The water playground at the Water Knowledge Workshop offers a welcome change related to the theme of water.
From the Water Knowledge Workshop, one can also follow the 13-kilometer hiking trail 'Köhlerpfad am Steinbach', which leads around the Steinbach Dam.
