Wederather Cross

East of Gonzerath, above the cemetery, stands the eponymous cross on Wederather Weg.

There are no sources indicating when and by whom this cross was created. It was probably erected as a thank you or in memory of a specific event. In any case, it is a landmark of Gonzerath, and it has been maintained and cared for by all sorts of people for many years. Recently, this task has been taken over by the local heritage association.
