The Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park is one of the largest nature parks in Germany and extends over large parts of the Hunsrück-Nahe region as well as into Saarland. Dense forests, open landscapes, and diverse habitats characterize the protected area between the Hunsrück heights and the valleys of Nahe, Mosel, and Saar.
