CONFERENCE CENTER EBERNBURG: MEET AND RELAX AT THE CASTLE
Your event with extraordinary perspectives: conferences, workshops, and seminars in the historic surroundings of Ebernburg, conveniently located near the Rhine-Main area. Here, Ebernburg overlooks the Nahe Valley, surrounded by vineyards, forests, and framed by the Mediterranean rock walls of the Rote Fels massif, including the highest cliff north of the Alps.
Ebernburg has 70 rooms, all equipped with shower/WC, internet, and Wi-Fi connection.
For your event, there are 8 conference rooms with natural light and Wi-Fi reception, as well as 2 lounges available. The conference rooms are equipped with current conference technology, and hybrid events are possible.
As a conference guest, choose individually from various offers:

• Conference package: overnight stay with breakfast, vitality break in the morning, lunch, coffee and cake in the afternoon, dinner buffet, conference room including technology, conference drinks

SUSTAINABLE AND REGIONAL
When preparing our meals, we pay attention to the preferred use of regional products. We are a member of the regional initiative SooNahe, and we focus on an economical and sustainable approach to food. We offer regional cuisine as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes upon request.

We are happy to assist you with advice and support in designing your supporting program: guided hikes, mountain bike tours, culinary wine tastings, cooking events, wellness arrangements in the spa town of Bad Kreuznach, yoga, meditation, and health courses make your stay at Ebernburg a special experience. If you want a little more, we also offer team and outdoor training. We have the right ideas, speakers, and trainers for your challenges!

Pet without food: Euro 10,- per day

Ebernburg has 15 family rooms, 20 double rooms, and 15 single rooms with a magnificent view over the Nahe and Alsenz valleys. All rooms are equipped with shower/bath and WC as well as internet/Wi-Fi connection. Some of the rooms are barrier-free. We consciously do without a minibar in the rooms. Instead, enjoy your evening in the wine cellar or on the castle terrace with a good glass of Nahe wine and chat with friends and other guests in the cozy common rooms. You can find out the latest news of the day in the fireplace room or from the daily newspapers available.

General Terms and Conditions

Dear guests,

The following terms and conditions are part of our reservation confirmation and are intended to help avoid misunderstandings and ensure that your stay is pleasant. We ask for your understanding and wish you a pleasant stay at Ebernburg.

 

Arrival

Your room will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.

 

Departure

We ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. A longer stay is only possible in consultation with the reception.

 

Price-Inclusives

The price stated in the confirmation includes the services you have booked. That is, for

• Full board: breakfast buffet, lunch menu, dinner buffet.
• Half board: breakfast buffet, dinner buffet
• Package: breakfast buffet, coffee in the morning, lunch menu, coffee and cake, dinner buffet, non-alcoholic conference drinks in the conference room, 1 conference room with flipchart and pinboard.

Only meals that have been confirmed in writing according to your booking or ordered at the reception one day before consumption can be claimed. Ordered but not consumed meals must be charged in full.

 

Valuables

We are liable for items brought in according to the legal provisions according to § 701 ff BGB. Please therefore hand over money, securities, and valuables for safekeeping at the reception against receipt of a deposit receipt.

 

Parking

A large car parking area (unattended) is located in front of the castle. The castle courtyard may only be driven into for loading and unloading.

 

Payment Methods

For the settlement of your bill, we generally accept transfers, EC card payments with PIN, and cash payments. Family holidays pay on the day of departure by EC card and PIN or in cash.

 

Individual Billing for Group Bookings

Our prices apply only to services within the framework of group bookings and when billed to the organizer.

Individual billing with the participants is generally not possible.

 

Price

The price calculation is based on the price stated in the reservation confirmation, plus any additional ordered services. We reserve the right to change the price up to the day of arrival.

 

Early Departure - Under-occupancy

In the case of early departure, we will charge you a cancellation fee of 100% of the remaining total price from the early departure date. The same cancellation fee will be charged if the actual number of overnight stays deviates by more than 10% from the reserved number of overnight stays.

 

Accommodation

Accommodation is generally provided in a double room. Single rooms must be specified in the desired number at the time of booking.

 

Cancellations

We ask you to notify us of any cancellation immediately, but at the latest 61 days before your booked arrival date, in writing. For rooms not used by the guest, the Protestant Family Holiday and Education Center Ebernburg (EFFSt.) will account for the income from the re-renting of these rooms as well as the saved expenses. If the rooms are not rented out otherwise, EFFSt. can demand the contractually agreed remuneration and standardize the deduction for saved expenses of EFFSt. In this case, the guest is obliged to pay the following cancellation fees:

 

 On the day of arrival 100% of the total price

 1 - 7 days before departure 80% of the total price

 8 - 60 days before departure 60% of the total price

 

The guest is free to prove that the aforementioned claim has not arisen or not in the required amount.

 

Advance Payments

If the expected invoice amount exceeds €3,000.00, an advance payment of 50% of the final amount resulting from the confirmation must be made. The amount must be credited to our account at the Protestant Bank by the day of arrival at the latest.

Drinks

In the conference and lounge areas of our house, drinks will be provided upon request. The consumption of brought-in drinks is not possible and will be charged with a “corkage fee” if applicable.

 

Conference Rooms

The conference room reserved for you is available for the entire stay when booking a conference package.

An extension of the pre-booked period is only possible in consultation with the reception.

For all other bookings, the first and second conference rooms will be charged. Please refer to the valid price list for the amount of the conference room fee.

 

Liability

The organizer is liable for damages caused by participants during a conference or leisure activity. The organizer is the person or institution to whom the reservation confirmation was issued.

 

Reservations

A room order is only considered completed if it has been confirmed in writing by us.
