Until 1955, the Kirner Kerb took place on the Kiesel, near the city center of Kirn. Due to a lack of space, the festival was then moved to the Kyrau. It met the requirements for a festival site. The Kyrau is located in a picturesque setting, providing the appropriate flair for such an event.
For four days, the Kirner Kerb, the largest folk festival on the middle Nahe and the Hahnenbach, attracts numerous visitors from near and far.
Over 40 stalls and rides offer something for every taste. A large beer garden invites people of all ages to linger. The family Sunday is particularly popular, where many rides can be enjoyed at reduced prices. Almost unique are the fireworks for the opening on Friday and the closing of the fair on Monday, as well as the big Frühschoppen on Monday morning.
Here, the companies and businesses of the region have the opportunity to present themselves with their own outfits. Groups and associations are also invited. JUST BE BRAVE!!
