The museums and exhibitions of the Hunsrück-Nahe region tell of very different facets of regional history and culture. At the Museum am Strom in Bingen, you will encounter, among other things, Hildegard of Bingen, Rhine romanticism, and 2,000 years of history on the Rhine, while the Hunsrück Wood Museum in Morbach makes the significance of the material wood tangible for the Hunsrück.
Further insights are offered by the Birkenfeld State Museum, the Rhineland-Palatinate Open-Air Museum Bad Sobernheim, the Rhineland-Palatinate Fire Brigade Museum Hermeskeil, and the Museum for Puppet Theater Culture (PuK) in Bad Kreuznach. Historical mines and other special exhibition venues complement the museum landscape between Hunsrück and Nahe.
