The Castle and Witch Museum was opened in September 2005 by the Friends of Grimburg Castle e.V. in a restored farmhouse from the 18th century, provided by the local community.
The castle museum includes not only the regional history but also the history surrounding the former Electoral-Trier state castle from then to today.
In the witch museum, visitors gain insight into the time of witch hunts in the region. From torture methods to individual fates, one learns how men and women were affected.
