The recreational facility at Schillinger Lake offers plenty of leisure attractions and activities for young and old alike.
- The Spießbratenhalle with a large beer garden treats you to rustic cuisine and regional specialties. It is open year-round from Tuesday to Saturday starting at 11:00 AM, and on Sundays from 10:00 AM. For more information, call: 06589-618 or visit www.spiessbratenhalle.com.
- Barefoot path with a length of 1.5 km
Take off your shoes and socks and experience nature up close. Through various elements such as soft forest floor, grass, sand, mulch, gravel, logs, and mud, your feet will receive a reflexology massage that you will remember for a long time. At the end of the path, you can cool and clean your feet in the clear water of the Flonterbach. Your feet will thank you!
- Nature trail - A 1.8 km long educational trail explains at 18 family-friendly stations, especially for children and teenagers, a lot of interesting and informative facts about the forest and its inhabitants. The mostly interactive stations playfully convey the interplay of forces in nature and sensitize visitors to the preservation of our valuable natural landscape.
- Fishing - The heart of the recreational facility is the forest pond, which is also a fishing pond and is maintained by the local fishing club. Holders of a federal fishing license can obtain fishing permits at the Gasthaus-Pension Maßem and the hair salon Bohr (both in Schillingen).

- Fatima Chapel - In 1931/1932, farmer Johann Werner built a wayside shrine to the Mother of God here and a simple hut modeled after Saint Nicholas of Flüe. In the following years, the wayside shrine was replaced by a stone grotto, a chapel was built, and a statue of the "Dear Lady of Fatima" was erected. It has remained a place of reflection to this day. Children particularly enjoy ringing the heavy bell.
