This song by composer and musician Reinhard May certainly serves as a confirmation of their actions for many people who are fond of aviation. When gliders circle in the Keller sky today, many observers are likely overcome by wishful thinking, wanting to do the same and escape the worries of everyday life with each circle in the sky. There can hardly be better conditions anywhere. In terms of thermal properties, our airfield is ideally located. Nestled in the "Schwarzwälder Hochwald" at an elevation of 560 m above sea level, it offers connections to the "Thermal Race Track" Hunsrück. Long-distance flights over 500 km are not uncommon.
