The Dream Loop Spitzer Stone runs, as the name suggests, around the observation tower at the distinctive rock located at the municipal borders of St. Goar, Urbar, and Niederburg.
Architecturally very interesting: The new steel tower next to the historic tower from the 18th century. The new tower incorporates the old telegraph system by Claude Chappé. More details on-site, including self-telegraphing.
But not only from the tower, but also along the way, there are always wide views extending into the Taunus, over the Loreley, and the castles Katz and Maus. Historical information boards about St. Goar and Biebernheim complete the hiking experience.
You can take a break in three huts: on the Spitzen Stein, in the Thiergarten, and in the Krähenhütte. And at the Krähenhütte, you can also have your photo taken with the impressive Biebernheimer Quetschehannes made of steel.
Catering options await in Biebernheim or with a short detour via the staircase path in St. Goar for the hikers.
