Since summer 2011, a 1.8 km long nature trail has enriched the Schillingen recreational facility.
At 18 family-friendly designed stations, especially children and young people can rediscover the local natural environment in all its complexity. The predominantly interactive stations playfully convey the interplay of forces in nature.
A tree labyrinth, a barefoot path, and the Fatima Chapel are components of the trail, and especially the chapel provides visitors with peace and relaxation, away from the often hectic everyday life.
The spit-roast hall at the starting and ending point of the nature trail offers hearty cuisine and is open daily (except Mondays) from 11:00 AM.
