WALKING is the delight of water creatures
As part of the water project "Ruwer and its tributaries", a large nature conservation project of the Trier-Saarburg district, which aims to preserve and develop the Ruwer and its tributaries with the floodplains as near-natural water and floodplain landscapes, this themed hiking trail was created.
Let yourself be impressed and fascinated by the idyll that a stream can unfold when it is given the opportunity to move and develop freely on a walking distance of 7.5 km, partly accompanied by the babbling of the Ruwer.
You start at the recreational facility Schillingen / Spießbratenhalle
Walking time: About 3 hours.
